“Ideas, that’s what’s most important for all musicians. There is so much I can do… But I hold myself back, because I shouldn’t; if I embark on that path, I will get lost. For instance, when I listen to Classical Indian Music, I sometimes say, ‘I wish I was born in India, I wish I had grown up in an environment like that.’ Then I could sense those melodies in the most spontaneous manner. But I can never perform that music better than a child that has grown up in that environment.”
