Azerbaijan issued arrest warrant for members of the European Parliament who visited Karabakh to monitor the referendum for constitutional amendment.

Stetina held a press conference in Strasbourg and stated that
Azerbaijan issued arrest for him, Frank Engel from Luxembourg and
Eleni Theocharous from Cyprus because they monitored the referendum.
Over 100 observers from 30 countries monitored the referendum in Karabakh.
Stetina stated that such actions are part of the new policy of Azerbaijani government.
Speaking to Sigmalive, MEP Eleni Theocharous said, “This is not a first, but being targeted by a dictatorship is an honor for me.”
