police operation against HDP officials in Istanbul, Ankara, Adana,
Manisa and Mersin.
In Istanbul, 20 HDP members including the provincial chair Aysel Güzel are detained and transferred to counter-terrorism department.
In Ankara, 17 people including the provincial chair İbrahim Binici and some provincial executives are detained.
In Adana, 25 people including the provincial co-chairs Hüseyin Beyaz and Gülseren Tural are detained in simultaneous operations to different locations.
In Manisa, 5 HDP officials are detained.
In Mersin, 51 HDP officials including provincial executives are detained. Police forces are also looking for Akdeniz Mayor Fazıl Türk and the provincial chair Sadun Doğan.
In Urfa, counter-terrorism department carried out operations to some locations as part of the investigations against PKK. In the operation, some suspects including HDP members are detained.
