After the attempted coup, some protesters damaged the monument that was built in the memory of people who died in Ankara massacre on October 10. Yesterday, the monument was restored.
According to Evrensel newspaper, October 10 monument was repaired by the relatives of the victims of the massacre.
The relatives of the victims had condemned the attack against the monument, which consists of the pictures of the victims. Board member of October 10 Foundation Erdoğan Tedik said, “There is chaos in the country. Some protesters, who hit the streets upon the call of President Erdoğan, have ISIS mentality. They are the perpetrators of this attack. These people also beheaded the soldiers.”
