Last week, plaster from the ceiling of our classroom fell off. Our school is a historical building and our principal Arusyak Koç Monnet said that the materials wore off because of the water leaking through the roof. We talked to Arusyak Koç Monnet about this issue. Here is what she said: "The school has occupational safety. We take precautions against all possible risks. There are renovation works carried out in summer. Last summer, we renovated the roofs. It is restored with preserving the original structure. And this summer, electricity and water systems will be renovated for the first time. 2 months ago, we renovated fire boxes. 5 teachers received first aid training.”
These precautions are taken for the health and safety of students and teachers.
