“Live Love Armenia” is not only a sharing a platform; it is also an archive consisting of visual material.
Social media platform called “Live Love Armenia” is founded by Sarin Püzantyan, Şaghig Kevork Rastkelenyan living in Yerevan and Stephanie Sanossian living in Beirut. All three were born in Syria and they decided to transform their passion for preserving the moments to a project after their first visit to Armenia. They wanted to share the cultural heritage and natural beauties of the country with the world and thus founded "Live Love Armenia."
“Live Love Armenia” is not only a sharing a platform; it is also an archive consisting of visual material. It is easy to take part in this project. Everyone can share photographs and videos of Armenia via Facebook, Twitter and Instagram with #LIVELOVEARMENIA hashtag. The ones who are selected are published via the official social media accounts of "Live Love Armenia".
Their Instagram account reach 18.000 followers in the first month and now, it has over 21.000 followers all around the world. After attracting a great deal of attention, the founders wanted to raise found through their social media accounts. They collaborated with Beirut-based “Live Love Bracelet” platform and started to sell “Live Love Armenia” bracelets. They make donations to social aiding campaigns with their revenue.
They also work with AGBU. “We should work with Armenian people and help the ones in need. Only in this way we can keep up.” They stated that the peace will come to Syria, where they were born and raised, and they thanked their relatives and friends who still live in Syria and do whatever they can for Diaspora, though they live under though conditions.
The most recent civil society initiative of “Live Love Armenia” was about a orphanage in Gyumri. They gave bracelets and scarves and hats made by Syrian women to the children staying in that orphanage.
