OSCE: the SBE issued instructions undermining an important safeguard and contradicting the law
OSCE released the preliminary report on the referendum in Turkey based on the findings of international observers, who state that the referendum was held in an unlevel playing field and did not live up to Council of Europe standards. It is also stated that the legal framework was inadequate for the holding of a genuinely democratic process.

The US and EU to wait for OSCE report
Initial statements from the US and EU concerning the constitutional referendum in Turkey state that they will wait for the observation report of OSCE.
Historic referendum in Turkey: narrow win for “yes”
The constitutional referendum was held in Turkey yesterday. Yes campaign won 51.41% of the votes, while No got 48.59%. Turnout was said to around 85%. President Erdoğan declared victory last night before the official results.
