Death toll has risen to 44 (36 police officers and 8 civilians) as result of the bombing attack in Beşiktaş, which has been claimed by TAK (Kurdistan Freedom Hawks).

On Saturday night, twin attacks hit Beşiktaş. First a car bombing attack was carried out near a football stadium. Then, a suicide bomber detonated himself near a park. 5 police officers who tried to stop the attacker were killed there.
13 suspects detained
Prosecutors carried out investigation in the crime scene. Counter-terrorism department identified 13 suspects, including the ones who carried out the sale of the car that was used in the attack and delivered it to the attackers. The suspects are currently interrogated by police forces.
