Cabinet gathered for the first time after the coup attempt on July 15. After the meeting, Prime Minister Binali Yıldırım spoke to the press with the ministers.
Prime Minister Binali Yıldırım provided information about the recent operations and presented the numbers of casualties and detentions after the coup attempt.
Officials figures are as the following:
60 police officers, 3 soldiers and 145 civilians were killed.
1491 people were injured.
100 police officers, 6038 soldiers, 755 judges and prosecutors and 650 civilians are detained.
316 people are arrested.
24 soldiers, who are claimed to be involved in the coup attempt, were killed. 50 soldiers were injured.
5 members of the Supreme Board of Judges and Prosecutors are dismissed.
2753 judicial officials with various ranks are suspended.
In the Ministry of Finance, suspension decision is made about some 1500 officials.
8777 officials from Ministry of Interior's various units, including police department, district governors, former governors, gendarmerie and coast guard, will be suspended.
