When was the camp founded?
In 1965.
What is the purpose of the camp?
The purpose is providing the orphans a place where they can go for a vacation and receive education during summer.
How many students come here in a year?
About 200-250 students.
Who is the target group?
Children between the ages of 5 and 13. The camp has the capacity for hosting 150 boarding students. It is free and we give gifts to children when they leave.
What kind of activities are there in the camp?
Chess, drama, dancing, basketball, volleyball, Pilates, caricature, drawing, ceramics, handiwork activities like jewelry design, English, Hayeren (Armenian), TV-cinema.
From where do people hear about the camp?
We send invitations to each school and the teachers tell it to the students.
What are your future plans?
Providing more opportunities to children, appealing to more children, renovating the buildings, another pool in the garden and offer more education to children.
