HDP: 76 prisoners are on hunger strike
HDP Prison Committee stated that 76 prisoners in six prisons are on hunger strike indefinitely and without taking turns.
İdris Baluken arrested again
Released on January 30, HDP Diyarbakir MP İdris Baluken was detained in Ankara yesterday. After being referred to the court, he is arrested again.
Figen Yüksekdağ disqualified from membership of the parliament
In General Assembly of the Turkish parliament, jailed HDP co-chair Figen Yüksekdağ is disqualified from membership of the parliament.
HDP appeals to ECHR for arrested co-chairs
HDP appealed to European Court of Human Rights for its arrested co-chairs Selahattin Demirtaş and Figen Yüksekdağ. The ground of the application is the violation of right to free election and the fact that Turkish Constitutional Court doesn't carry out any examination.
Ayhan Bilgen arrested
HDP Kars MP Ayhan Bilgen is arrested. Diyarbakir Chief Public Prosecutor's Office had issued an arrest warrant for Bilgen.
Crackdown on HDP continues: Beştaş arrested
HDP Adana MP Meral Danış Beştaş was detained and released provisionally before. Yesterday, the prosecutor objected the release. After the objection, Beştaş was detained again and then arrested.

HRW: the crackdown indicates government’s increasing authoritarianism
Human Rights Watch reviews more than 90 country in World Report 2017. HRW, in Turkey chapter of that report, states: “The crackdown that followed the coup attempt was symptomatic of the government’s increasing authoritarianism."
HDP MPs Konca and Demirel arrested
HDP MP Besime Konca and group deputy chairperson Çağlar Demirel were arrested yesterday. HDP Siirt MP Besime Konca had been released, but she was detained again upon the objection by prosecution and then arrested.
