HDP appeals to ECHR for arrested co-chairs
HDP appealed to European Court of Human Rights for its arrested co-chairs Selahattin Demirtaş and Figen Yüksekdağ. The ground of the application is the violation of right to free election and the fact that Turkish Constitutional Court doesn't carry out any examination.

ECHR convicted Turkey once again because of unexpected death of a soldier
Burhan Güzelaydan died in 2009 during the military service and investigating authorities claimed that he committed suicide. ECHR convicted Turkey due to violation of right to life.

European Court of Human Rights said the final word on controversial Perinçek case which has been going run and run for about ten years. Grand Chamber decided that Switzerland had violated Doğu Perinçek’s freedom of expression by a majority of 10 judges against 7.

ECHR Grand Chamber ruled by a majority of ten judges against seven that Switzerland had violated Perincek’s freedom of speech. The Second Chamber of ECHR ruled the same in 2013 and Switzerland took the case to Grand Chamber.
